[ANN] Cocoabuilder archive status update

  • Subject: [ANN] Cocoabuilder archive status update

Hi all,

As some of you might have noticed, the Cocoabuilder mail archive has been
offline since October 9th. It is now back online. I have had to install a new OS
since the previous one was aging to the point it was hacked.

I wish I could host the application on a Xserve box behind a firewall but I
can't afford the machine nor the bandwidth. If you know someone at Apple who
could do something about this, please let me know :)

I took the opportunity of this update to make a few changes to the archive:

- Added archive for Xcode-users mailing list (haven't yet processed the old
mails, but will soon).

- New messages are now indexed by the search engine on-the-fly.

- Added RSS feeds to be displayed directly in Safari.

- Url encoded email addresses such as the ones displayed in mailman
automatically added signatures (ex: email@hidden) are now removed.

- Fixed a bug in the search engine that was displaying empty titles.

- Removed news aggregator section (I didn't have the time to take care of it
correctly).

Please let people on Omnigroup macosxdev and Apple xcode-users list know about
this. Thanks,

Bertrand Mansion
