Of interest to Cocoa beginners only:

I have been learning Cocoa in my limited spare time and blogging my progress. Recently I finished a project and have posted the complete project source anyone to download. It may be of interest to anyone who, like me, is learning the basics and needs some fairly simple source to look over. Since I blogged the whole thing you can also see all the mistakes I made in getting there.

It is a complete document-based app that includes: saving and loading documents, implementations of coders and decoders, custom application and document icons, custom model classes, a worker thread for a calculation, interface control through bindings, including an NSTableView and a NSPopUpButton, value translators, display patterns, a progress bar, interface element grouping and layout control, a class with a delegate, class methods, a sheet, NSLock, thread communication, text file output, and a custom About This Application window content.

See the completed projects page or the download page at http:// homepage.mac.com/bagelturf/ and look for BTNumbers.

My next project is a framework. Wish me luck.
