Authenticate a user

  • Subject: Authenticate a user

Hi,

Is it possible (maybe using the security frameworks) to require a user to enter their username, password on application launch? I don't need it to authorise any super-user commands, just to authenticate that the current user can run the application. I am in effect looking to duplicate the password panel that appears when coming out of a screen saver...

Many thanks,
Chris
