NSPanel vs. NSFontPanel and font color

  • Subject: NSPanel vs. NSFontPanel and font color

I have an NSTextField in an NSPanel. If I bring up the standard font
panel, I can set the font of text in the NSTextField. But I can't set
the text color. As soon as the color-selection panel appears, the
NSPanel loses focus, and the NSTextField never receives the
color-change event.

How can I get the color change to propagate back to the NSTextField?
This is no problem for an NSTextField in an NSWindow, but in an
NSPanel the change never reaches the destination.
