Problem with dynamic predicate expressions - can it be done?

I don't seem to grok how to make functions work properly.

I am trying to make a fetched property which obviously can't be written:

position == $FETCH_SOURCE.position + 1

but at least that describes the spirit of what I am trying to do.

How do I make this work?

/Christoffer
