Finding all Apple Events

  • Subject: Finding all Apple Events

I would like to know which Apple Events get sent do my application.

I tried to setEventHandler:andSelector:forEventClass:andEventID: with wild cards ('****') for event class and id, but this does not seem to work.

Registering for all documented (more than a thousand) or possible (millions) events clearly is not practical.

So what can I do?
Or: for what (undocumented) method should I set a symbolic breakpoint ?

(For the curious: I want to know which events Xcode sends to my app, wich is registered as external editor - besides 'odoc').

Kind regards,

Gerriet.
