don't understand pdfview and pdfkit

  • Subject: don't understand pdfview and pdfkit

I am trying to begin working with PDFKit... Where is
the PDFKitIBPalette? I am trying to open the
PDFKitViewer example. When I try to open the
PDFKitViewer nib I get a Palette missing
(PDFKitIBPalette) warning. I have the PDFKit.palette
and it is installed in /Developer/Palettes and it
shows in IB. However if I try to use a PDFView, I get
a run error:

*** -[NSKeyedUnarchiver decodeObjectForKey:]: cannot
decode object of class (PDFView)

I have googled in this error and I don't get any
meaningful hits. Googling on PDFKitIBPalette reveals
nothing.

Is there some secret to using PDFKit?

Ted
