can you change the highlight color of an NSSegmentedControl?

Folks --

I’d like to use a color other than blue for highlighting the selected item in an NSSegmentedControl.

You could probably do it by overriding drawSegment:inFrame:withView: but I can’t find -- in documentation or Google -- any examples of this kind of custom drawing. Any suggestions?

I know I can use my own images in the cell, but that wouldn’t work well for our application, where both the text and segment sizing vary.
