I have a service that as one function puts up an NSSavePanel to save the contents of the pasteboard.

The problem is that when the NSSavePanel is displayed and when the filename text field has focus (and the cursor) all key presses go the the first window under the panel.

Has anyone seen behavior like this before?

Any ideas (or wild conjectures) as to how to resolve this?
