It seems that I haven't been able to make myself clear concerning
several points, maybe due to my mediocre English-skills.
Well, In case I've disregarded any written or unwritten rule I want
to apologize; and give this question a last try, since there were
no answers to my previous postings:
First of all: This statement simply means, what it says: I didn't
want to complain about missing support in any way - just checking
whether my previous postings didn't comply to this lists conventions,
and hence where not answered.
But now that I know that I simply wasn't clear enough about my
problem, I'd be glad to discuss this topic further. Though pretty
limited, I actually have a bit of openGL and other programming
experience; and am quite aware of the fact that it's not totally easy
to hook "stuff up", as my question may have led to believe.
I'm looking for a way to create an interface, that tells my drawing
routine, what kind of primitive to display; based on data from the
current document. It's entries are tagged scene-graph style, i.e.: '
"document entry #12" is the root-element of the scene, has the n
child-nodes and is to be displayed as a cube at the following
coordinates...'
So I started looking for a way to parse my documents' data similar to
the way it is parsed into a hierarchical list for an outline view,
and send this list to the openglview class / drawing routine instead
(or as well). By now I've figured out that I probably need some sort
of delegate class, but I'm kind of fruitlessly attempting one thing
or another from that point on...
I hope I've been able to describe my problem in a more understandable
manner, so, any help would be appreciated;
