I have an NSOutlineView working pretty well.

If a user changes some text in a row, I want them to be able to press
the escape key to just abort that edit and go back to the way the row
was before editing.

How can I implement this?

Why not just use the existing undo facility?

Wouldn't using the existing undo facility cause canceled text changes to unnecessarily show up in the Edit menu ("Redo Typing")?
