Founded in 1999 and based in Boulder, Colorado, @Last Software is
comprised of a small group of software industry veterans who envisioned
developing 3D design software that would make design exploration more
accessible. The result of our vision is SketchUp. For more information,
please see our website at www.sketchup.com.
SketchUp is growing rapidly with people who want to dream, design and
communicate and as a result, we are looking for a talented Mac Software
Developer to join our expanding team.
This position will be working on our commercially successful 3D design
software. Our product runs on both Windows and Mac OS X operating
systems, but we we're really interested in Mac skills for this position.
Our software is fun to use and people love it. In 2005, Sketchup won a
"Macworld Best of Show" award. If you want to be a key member of a small
team, developing creative software, then this is the job for you.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of OO development experience.
***- Professional experience using the Cocoa development environment and
extensive C++ experience. *** (this is KEY- Cocoa is our top
requirements)
- Familiarity with dual platform (Mac/PC) development strategies.
- 3D, Open GL, CAD, Game Development or page layout experience is a
plus.
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, architecture, visual arts,
mathematics, engineering or related field strongly preferred
- You must be a self-starter, innovative and be able to operate with
minimal guidance.
Our office is at the heart of Boulder Colorado's beautiful Pearl Street
Mall, adjacent to bus stops and abundant bike trails. Our office is
flanked between a coffee shop and a smoothie joint so we're always fully
caffeinated and buzzing on sugar. Since this is Boulder we feel
compelled to ride our bikes, grab a bus, or walk our dogs to work as
much as possible (great for us, and great for the environment)! In fact,
in the summer months we have more bikes hanging from our ceiling than
some of the local bike shops around town!
Our employees are wood and metal workers, architects, video gamers,
artists, rocket scientists, athletes, musicians, and down-home folks who
take great pride in creating products that make the work of our
customer's easier and more fun. As you might guess, we are an equal
opportunity employer and do we not discriminate based on race, age, sex,
religion, or sexual preference.
At @Last, we've never been afraid to do things a little differently;
from our 'tell it like it is' SketchUpDate newsletter to our 'try it
(and be successful first) before you buy it' sales approach. We've also
never met a customer we didn't like; some of the biggest critics have
helped us improve SketchUp by leaps and bounds!
If this sounds like your kind of place, we want to talk to you! Send
your resume today to Simone at email@hidden. Cover letters that
reflect your outgoing style and personality (tell us a joke, let us know
what you like about our website, send a picture of your dog doing
something funny.. ANYTHING) will receive immediate attention.
