Where to put background tools in package?

  • Subject: Where to put background tools in package?

I ship several background tools in my application package, and I put them in
Contents/MacOS because at the time I thought it looked sensible to put all
the unix executables in one neat place rather than stuff more confusion into
Contents/Resources.

I have had no problems with this, but in the meantime I see that most other
developers put their background tools in Contents/Resources. Is there
anything wrong with putting them in Contents/MacOS ?

Jerry
