Hello everyone,

We're looking into developing an app with cocoa and objective-c, and just need a quick proof-of-concept. We've started the development ourselves, but are running low on time and are looking for a cocoa developer to finish things up.

The app is fairly simple - it needs to:

1) read data from a plist file
2) display the data in a table, with sortable columns
3) accept username and password input from the user
4) read data from a remote source (a list of 30-50 items, with ID numbers), using the username + password and http authentication
5) display the data in a drop down menu
6) allow the user to select rows from the table (2), select an item from the menu (4), and hit submit to post this data back to the remote source, using the username + password and http authentication.

(1) and (2) are built, and seem to be working well. If necessary, we can skip (3) and the authentication part of (4) and hard code something in as a quick fix.

We've looked at the POST and GET examples from Apple, and they seem relatively straight forward, but integrating the functionality in a timely manner is a little beyond our experience. We would love some help.

If you're interested, please email jobs at pictothink dot com for more details.

Thanks,

-austin
