Big Nerd Ranch Europe is open for business.
After many requests from the other side of the pond, we will be
offering our classes in Europe. This winter, we will offer the
following classes:
The PostgreSQL Bootcamp with Chris Campbell, Dec 12-16, near Rome
Cocoa Bootcamp with Aaron Hillegass, Jan 16-20, near Rome
The price (Euro 2800 + VAT) includes luxurious room and board. There
is a special price of Euro 2500 + VAT if you sign up at least four
weeks before the class starts. For more information or to sign up

Note that there are three incredible new classes on the list:
* Administering Mixed Networks is about making Macs, Windows, and
Linux machines play nicely together on a network. This hands-on
course deals with printer and file sharing, creating single logins
using LDAP and Kerberos, dealing with Exchange from Unix clients, and
other headaches that emerge on heterogeneous networks. (Most system
administrators should take a class on this topic, and we are the only
company to offer one.)

* Network Security Bootcamp is chance to do hands-on exercises that
teach you how to find and fix security problems in your network. It
covers several open-source security tools and how to create firewalls
and honeypots using Linux systems.
