NEWBIE - production version

Hi Guys

Have just finished developing a program and all works
fine on my machine.
I have no idea how to package it so it will work on my
friends Mac.
I've built it in my Applications folder and then
copied the entire contents to my friends Applications
folder which seems to work.
But if I do the same on another friends computer it
doesn't work.

Would prefer just to package it up into the standard
drag and drop.

Can anyone give me step by step instructions.
Thanks
