Apple doesn't document or support private frameworks.

I knew that, but this doesn't look like a private framework - it doesn't live in the PrivateFrameworks directory. It's buried inside ApplicationServices, which includes several other key frameworks like ColorSync, CoreGraphics, and LaunchServices. Is it inherently private because there is (currently) no documentation?
