get window server?

hi

i have maybe a stupid question, but here we go:
Is it possible to get the window server as a object from the system?
i want create mouse events, and deliver it to the system as a user does, when he
klicks on the finder. so i thinked it is easiest to just tell the window
server, that a event occured. the point is, that i too want do this for
non-cocoa apps, hence my question. if that is somehow possible in cocoa, how do
i do that? or do i have to work with lower level stuff?
any idea would be nice :)

hanspeter
