Transition inputTime range varies

I'm using the CIPageCurlTransition filter in several places. The range on the inputTime parameter is supposed to be from 0.0 to 1.0. The 0.0 seems to be consistent (no transition) but the maximum seems to vary... in different places a complete transition is somewhere between about 0.8 and 1.75 (I've seen 1.55 as well). The complete transition value is consistent for a particular instance of the filter, but not between instances.

Any ideas?
