Some followup on this issue...

My best guess to the cause of this IB bug/issue is that the checkbox in
question was in an item matrix (and was the only item in the matrix).  In a
perfect world, I'd like to investigate this so that a bug can be filed, but
the fact that catching the issue in the act is tough, I unfortunately just
can't afford the time right now (other than to remove the matrix part).  At
least it's in the archives now if someone else sees this issue.
