So, here's the thing.
All the sites I've seen, including Apple's, will be happy to teach you
Objective-C for Cocoa ("*assumes previous knowledge of the C Programming
language"). See, it's that last little asterix...
So I got a beginning C book, and it turns out copying and pasting doesn't
seem to work, and as has been pointed out, it works with some fairly archaic
syntax.
For any of you out there looking to make it a better Cocoa world -- write a
great total beginner's book, which takes you thorough Objective-C only (not
the full C set) and Cocoa itself -- at the same time. No previous experience
necessary.
"Cocoa For Dummies" (finger points at nose).
It just occurs to me -- there might be some *big* gold in them thar hills.
Or maybe it's just me <grin>
