applying a distortion filter

  • Subject: applying a distortion filter

Hi,

It seems quite straightforward to apply a core image distortion filter to an image being displayed within a scroller when the image is displayed at full size and without rotation at a point chosen from a mousedown.

Having scaled the view and rotated it within the scroller and then from a mousedown converted a selected point to view coordinates I want to scale and rotate that point back to the full size of the image in order to apply the distortion filter to the image before redisplaying it at the scaled and rotated size again.

I hope this makes sense to someone who could help with the maths involved or the application of a transform.

TIA
