Hi All,
I'm loading a flash "swf" file in webview. Flash code in swf file tries to
connect to other computer but it is not able to do so because of security
restriction. Is there any way in WebView to change security settings for
loaded flash application so that it can make a socket connection?
If I add the location of "swf" to trusted location by visiting the "
http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04.html#117502"
then flash application can make the socket connection. But right now I
cann't use that option as well because after the reinstallion of OS X
10.4option to add trusted location is more visible on my Safari
browser. But I
think I have to ask this question in macromedia forum.
Also current user has the privileges of making a socket connection to other
computer. I've verified that by creating a client application which can
connect to a remote computer.
Could any one please give me any pointer on this?
Regards,
Gurmit
