For a rotating window effect, I would suggest using a Quartz Composer
composition and a QCView to display it. See the QC tutorial for more
information on integrating QC with Cocoa applications. Also my recent e-mail
on the "ripple" effect describes one technique to ripple a window's
contents.
In this case the specific effect in Quartz Composer would take advantage of
the "cube" renderer. Basically, the program would render the images of the
windows on distinct faces of a cube and then rotate it to achieve the
effect.
