I'm well aware, but I originally used my own NSSplitView subclass, and
the view hierarchy in IB is quite complicated, so I decided to try
using my own for a while before moving to RBSplitView.

Also, RBSplitView's animation doesn't hide the splitter, although I'm
sure I could figure out a way around this through subclassing.
