Hello,
I've been trying to replicate the Finder's (and Open/Save box's)
"sidebar." I found a plist file (com.apple.sidebar) in ~/Library that
has the entries for this bar. I searched the web
(http://www.google.com/search?q=com.apple.sidebarlists.plist) for some
help with this file. I found this:
http://www.cocoadev.com/index.pl?SideBarContent
It explains that the aliases are just data, NDAlias, (that I knew) and
that the icons are in a type/creator/icontype format. "For example the
one for finder folders is "ImgR? SYSL fldr"" This doesn't look good.
How do I use this? I have no idea what to do with such useless (IMHO) data.
All help will be appreciated, thanks, Alan
