NSTableColumn sort indicator

Hi

Can any body explain how i can control sorting indicator on NSTABLECOLUMN.

It changes on every click on Column header. In my application there are number of column and every column is sorting enable. After some time one of the sort indicator losses its track. As an example ascending sort has occur while indicator is showing descending.

Can I get indicator present state so that I can chose sort according to its next state.
