I really, really, really hope you're wrong. The fact that people badly paraphrase their real code and then expect strangers to debug it just boggles my mind. Nothing is more frustrating than fixing a bug that doesn't even exist in the person's code, because you ended up fixing a typo they made when making their broken paraphrase.
