Newbie question of the day.

I recently started playing with Cocoa, doing tutorias, reading books, etc...

I was hoping someone could point me to a good place to start. I'm
probably getting ahead of myself, my ultimate goal is to create a
cocoa version of my widget: http://www.icomicsonsale.com so if anyone
can point me to tutorials that deal with:

NSTreeController
Loading XML and parsing it into a Core Data Structure
