NSStatusItem and Right Clicks

Hey dear list,

after searching through the cocoabuilder.com archives and the cocoadev.com pages i found multiple questions regarding the possibility of catching right-clicks when working with an NSStatusItem, but no answer that I could use.

I already have my NSStatusItem set up to handle ctrl-clicks differently from left clicks, but right clicks somehow don't do anything. Is there a way to have the status item receive rightMouseDown events?

Thanks,
Ben
