Hi -- my company, MK&C, has worked for the past year on an open source Cocoa database framework that allows you to work with PostgreSQL databases using familiar Core Data -like semantics and APIs.

We have now released the first BaseTen developer preview, or DP1, to the public. I hope you'll find time to check it out.

Also, we're announcing a competition today for the best database- driven app made with BaseTen. The winner scores a new Core 2 Duo MacBook!

Thanks,
Marko

p.s. As a silly example, we ported the Core Data Stickies example to BaseTen, making it a multiuser application. That's also available on the BaseTen site.
