In my experience working with popup menus, the "selected" object must exist
in the "content" objects array. And I mean the *exact same* object. I am not
sure how the controller performs matching, but it certainly does *not* use
-isEqualTo:. Your best bet may be to combine the two lists into one.
Other than this suggestion, we would need more information to help.
