You think so? My understanding (from the documentation) is that
this method
will first synchronize changes--i.e. write them to the defaults
database,
and then release the current shared NSUserDefaults instance. It

doesn't say anything about resetting the values to what is
contained in the
registration domain--but that doesn't mean it doesn't.
On the surface this method doesn't seem terribly useful, but then I
could be
missing something myself.
