Does rsync work on the files with resource forks now?

Not 100% sure but I think someone actually did write a "quick-fix" to rsync that merges both "myfile" and "myfile/rsrc". But maybe I'm thinking of some other tool.
OTOH, I don't know about metadata like types and creators.
