Popup menu on button click

Hello,

how can I implement a popup button like in Mail.app (second button at
bottom of the Mailboxes). I want to design my NSMenu and want to show
when the button is pressed. It must also be in pressed mode like in
Mail.app and many other apps like the path button in finder.
