You can use a mp3 in pages bundle or graphics and if your search
for that graphics
spotlight will result the pages bundle!!
I think Scott means it's not supported; it's certainly possible. At
the very worst, in your mdimporter you could create NSTasks which run
"mdimport -d2 bundledfile" and parse the results. You can presumably
do better by creating an MDItem for the bundled files to get their
type, finding the mdimporter for that type (doing whatever "mdimport -
d4" does), loading that mdimporter as a bundle and calling
GetMetadataForFile() yourself.
You might want to ask this question on the Spotlight-dev mailing
list. Ben Summers (http://www.fluffy.co.uk/spotmeta/) has previously
posted to that list and he has done much more difficult things with
mdimporters!
