Where is the text baseline in an NSTextField

  • Subject: Where is the text baseline in an NSTextField

I want to programmatically position an NSTextField so that the displayed text's baseline is at a pre-defined position.

The only information that I have found about text baseline uses the NSLayoutManager but I see no way of getting an NSLayoutManager from a NSTextField.

Is there a way to determine where the text baseline is for an NSTextField?

Thanks,

Craig
