Connecting Menu Items to Actions

  • Subject: Connecting Menu Items to Actions

I'm a newbie and need help with something basic.

I have my AppController class for which I've created a few actions and then instantiated it in Interface Builder. I've successfully connected the Preferences menu item to an action in my AppController class but when I try to connect the About menu item to an action in my AppController class, the inspector shows "Actions in NSApplication" instead of "Actions in AppController".

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you, Jason
