This complicates the issue for someone wanting to make genuinely Universal boot CDs, etc. You have to be careful where you get your exemplar system from.

If nothing else it's a practical issue - do you really think the 10.4.4 update should have included the universal libraries & binaries, and been a nice cosy 2 gig (or whatever) download?


I think as a rule you should always, for the moment anyway, use the appropriate universal SDK when doing universal work.
