[resend] Bindings validation weirdness

  • Subject: [resend] Bindings validation weirdness

Hi all,

I am having a problem with a date binding. I have a NSTextField bound
to a model object property that is an NSCalendarDate and using an
NSDateFormatter. When the field displays the date everything works
fine. When I type in something weird (like 'fff') and hit return I
get two error dialogs with the helpful message "Format error" and 2
buttons (OK, Discard Changes). OK reverts the value and Discard
Changes doesn't even accept a click. The dialogs are coming from
[NSObject presentError:] so I assume this is a system default error
presentation dialog.

So, does anyone have any ideas why I would get 2 of the same dialogs,
and why the buttons are not working on either of them?

Thanx,
joe
