plain white boxes/views

  • Subject: plain white boxes/views

In one of my windows, I have a number of controls inside an NSBox. However, I want this box to display it's background as pure white rather than its usual pinstriped grey. What is the easiest way of achieving this? Does it require a full subclass of NSBox or NSView?

For more of an idea of what I'm aiming at, fire up Garageband and have a look at the window that appears when there is no project open. This white effect is what I'm aiming for.

Thanks,
Mike A.
