Which NSBitmapImageRep representation types support 16-bits/sample?

Hello,

In my app, I can export using NSBitmapImageRep and any of TIF, JPEG, BMP, JPEG2000 or PNG formats. I know that I can export 8-bit or 16- bit/sample TIFs, however does anybody know what the bit depth limitations are for the other representation types?

Do any support exporting 10-bit or 12-bit color? I know the TIFF standard is suppossed to support 10-bit and 12-bit depths but most applications only read 8 or 16, so it all depends on what apple decided to include when exporting an NSBitmapImageRep.

Thanks,
Juan
