NSStatusItem has a convenience method for drawing the menu bar
background. You can use this to get the look, but all of the
functionality will have to be implemented by you.

(trying to resist making a comment about how I have been doing Mac
development for 20+ years...ok...not able to resist). :-)
Yeah, I need a full menubar like in a windows app across the top of
one of my windows. I have it working with popup menus, but I don't
like it that way.
