What is the easiest way to display text vertically in a NSTextView? Any help would be appreciated.

What do you mean by "display vertically"?  Do you mean the vertical text layout often used in East Asian writing systems?  Do you mean rotated text e.g. for graph labels?  What sort of text are you planning to display?
