Hi Lorenzo,

I think this problem will resurface unless you find the cause.
If you have another menu item in the nib file that uses Control + Command + C (such as Format - Text - Copy Ruler) then the 2 shortcut keys would possibly be saved into the nib file undefined sequence in the nib file - and the first one it finds will probably be the one that gets precedence. If you would like to send me a copy of your nib file I will load it into Nib Reporter (not yet released) to see what is happening.

I solved the problem of the hot key in my menu item.
I just exchanged the 3rd item with the 4th item.
It sounds absurd but it works.

They were (the C hot key didn't work):
1 Item: Command+Control+X
2 Item: Command+Control+S
3 Item: Command+Control+L
4 Item: Command+Control+C

Now they are (they all work):
1 Item: Command+Control+X
2 Item: Command+Control+S
3 Item: Command+Control+C
4 Item: Command+Control+L

If I use again the old item list, it doesn't work again. So I can reproduce the problem. Mistery of IB... :-)

Actually, if there is a service whose shortcut conflicts with an application
then the application shortcut takes precedence and there will be no shortcut
shown against the service.

Hi,
it's about one year long that I am fighting with a menu item which
"sometimes" doesn't show the Command+Control+C symbol so I cannot call it
using the keyboard.
In order to fix this problem I have to open the MainMenu.nib file with IB,
delete that menu item, recreate it, link it and assign that key to it again.
Then I build my app again and the menu item works with the keyboard.

I am forced to do this story almost any time I modify the MainMenu.nib file.
And today, even if I have recreated the menu item many times, it won't work
anymore. It happens with Xcode 2.2.1. and the previous version too.
Is anyone who knows why? Some conflict with the "Edit:Copy" menu item
short-key "Command+C"?
