start window inside and NSDocument based application

  • Subject: start window inside and NSDocument based application

All,

I am trying to figure out how to have a start window (a window that would allow the user to open a previous document, create new document, e.g. iMovie when you launch). I want this to be the starting point for the user. Also, when no document windows are open, I want this window to appear. How do I shoe horn this in before the NSDocumentController creates a NSDocument?

Thanks,

Ben
