On standard Aqua windows (non-metal, non-unified) the sheet drops
straight down unless the sheet is wider than the host window.
OK, I hadn't realised that the other windows I brought sheets down on
where either metal or unified. The cliff effect makes sense in those
cases, since the sheet appears to burst through a newly formed slit
in the window, whereas in the wide plain window case it already has a
line to drop down from.
