WebView and NSTabView

  • Subject: WebView and NSTabView

Hey! I'm a new cocoa developer and I'm having difficulties connecting an WebView in an NSTabView to an outlet pointer in my application's class. I can connect it to an outlet fine if the WebView is in another tab-less Window altogether. However, when I try to control- drag from the MySocket class(my custom class) to the WebView inside the NSTabView, it only lets me set NSTabView as the target view and not the WebView. I started the project using the Document-based Cocoa Application project template - might this having something to do with it?(I've removed the main document window as the application's owner). Has anyone else had this problem and have any ideas about how to fix it? Thanks a lot!

Sincerely,

Jonathan Lyons
