I did a search of 'verify' in the XCode help and only came up on how to verify the entity diagram.

Your application is really a folder. You can right-click on your app icon and select "Show Package Contents" to see what's inside it. If your nib file is not to be found, it's no wonder your app can't load it. Should that be the case, you need to see what's wrong with your Xcode project. Most likely the nib file is not added to the app target, or missing from the app target copy files build phase.
