Neatly terminating the app

  • Subject: Neatly terminating the app

Simple question I'm sure, but I couldn't find a definite guide to this.

I have a doc-based app, with a window that is always present (it has nothing to do with the documents themselves, just serves as a starting point). If the user clicks on the Quit button in this window, what method should I use to quit the app, but make sure that the app won't quit if there are any unsaved documents open?

Thanks,
Mike Abdullah.
